All Inclusive Family Vacation

My favorite type of vacation to book is an all inclusive family vacation. You will often find resorts that offer all inclusive packages right on the beaches of the world. You won’t have to worry about anything on this type of vacation. You book the vacation and pay up front. Your transportation, accommodations, activities, meals and snacks will be included in the price. All you have to do once you get there is relax and enjoy.

Whatever your budget, you will be able to find the perfect destination for your family. You can pick from destinations like Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Ski Resorts and even Disney. Of course you can look for this option at many other destinations that may be of interest to you.

It can be fun to include your whole family in planning this type of trip because the kids will get excited when they see the activities that are laid out especially for them.

When picking your destination keep the amount of time you have for the trip and your budget in mind. You may want to stop by to see your travel agent and they can advise what locations will best fit in your budget and time frame. They can also send you home with a few brochures which will be fun for the family to look over.

The best times to take a trip like this would be during the months of April and May, or between the months of September and November. Of course if your children are already school age this could be a problem. If that is the case, you want to make sure to avoid any of the long holiday weekends, Easter Week, Labor Day, and of course Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Make sure to advise your travel agent of the ages of your children to make sure that the resort you are choosing has something to offer their specific age. Look at the activities and entertainment offered. You also want to find out about the food choices if you have a picky eater.

Make sure to find out what is included with the all inclusive family vacation that you are booking. This will vary depending on the resort. I’ve stayed at some that just include 3 meals a day and then others include all you can eat and drink. Most will include some activities and sports equipment. There may be some equipment that is available to rent for an additional cost. Make sure to ask for a child discount. They aren’t always given but your pocketbook will thank you for asking.

An all inclusive family vacation is my favorite way to travel just for the shear convenience. No surprises or overspending on food once you get to your location. Plus there will be something for everyone once you get there if you’ve done your homework.
